im irritated bcs now everyone is posing as a gal and saying gal is mind WITHOUT EVEN KNOWING WHAT THE HISTORY BEHIND GYARU ISSS and on top of that kpop idols are dressung as "gyaru" and yes i put that in quotes bcs theyre literally not doing it right theyre just saying yaho and gyaru is mind and putting on cheap wigs and korean make its genuinely pissing me off now i know how goth ppl feel

Same things happened to most of not all subcultures. Social media makes them seen like a fun "style" or "aesthetics" so a bunch of posers come in and pretend to be part of these subculture without knowing the history or listening to the music if the subculture is based on music
and the problem is that they INSIST that theyre part of the subculture and when u try to correct them they call u a bully??
