ok so i have a choice to go to either my regular hair salonist, they do scene hair pretty ok but kind of lacking in some parts and lowk does what he wants sumtimes but hes pretty professional, or i can go to my brothers friend who runs a hair salon specefically for scene/emo hair and they're good at it but its 70$ for a haircut while the other one is 40$
lmk what yall think i should choose

What's great with scene hair is that the cut can be pretty forgiving if you know how to tease it properly for the volume part. But it might be easier if you have a better base. Maybe you could do the 70$ haircut once, and have the other place do the maintenance once in a while?
