Happy Halloween everyone!

I know its technically only the third, but I say it's Halloween nonetheless. As an unofficial by the community, but official by legend vampire, it is finally my season!

I'm once again employed as a scare actor and the work season starts tomorrow. I love my job and I'm super excited but I need to pull together a costume in the next week so I have something to wear. My highly psychologically abusive ex situationship works with me and I was quite worried about it last season but I think because of the job we're once again on good terms? Basically I'm not concerned about it and I'm very happily with my partner so no situationship will get in the way of my healthy work life balance.

As far as the general aura of Halloween goes my neighborhood is pretty stingy on decorations. That being said, I do live in an Albertan city and global warming, in a very bittersweet way, has given us autumn colors and crisp sweater weather in a way I never had growing up. And as for ambience I'm completely set. My best friend Alex comes to live with us during the work season and not only is he a horror movie fanatic, but he also has quite good taste in Halloween music! We've been going on night walks and setting the Halloween mood since he moved in last week!

The only real cons that come with the season are bats (which I am deathly afraid of) and the fact that our neighbor smokes more in the chilly months and his cigarettes are so strong that they hurt my head from inside my house...
