Hello, my name is alex. im a metalhead that wants to get into the emo subculture. i prefer the heavier side of music. so anything in the emo subculture that’s heavy would be greatly appreciated. i also really enjoy music with relatable lyrics so if anything is heavy and emotional then id be down to check it out! :) but truthfully ill take any recommendations!!! thx… !!

Try early Escape the Fate (especially the EP), debut lp of black veil brides, try early Funeral for a Friend and Alesana, and Design the Skyline (they called themselves grindcore but looked pretty emo tho), oh and Atreyu

Id recommend just hitting up Spotify or SoundCloud and scrolling to the earliest releases for all of these bands. For EtF it was There's no sympathy for the dead, and bvb was stitch these wounds.
