How do I get people to read my book?

I’m having trouble with spreading my work to others. The thing is I’m a bit hesitant to bring this up, especially since my writing isn’t that good. But when I do want people to read it, then I’m thinking, “Dang what if someone hates on it?” “Dang what if I accidentally mentioned a sensitive topic?” It freaks me out sometimes.

Not to say that I’m forcing. Nnonononono !!!! No pressure kay? I’m just trying to find ways to make my work known. I’m currently writing book 2 and I’m scared if it goes unnoticed…. But i’m also scared if it does go noticed 😭😭😭🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 HELP

I spent like… more than a year plotting that thing 😬 What I mean by plotting is I daydream. A lot. I daydream about it becoming a movie and having the quality of aalcc :0 it’s fascinating

Then 13 year old me randomly thought… Why not write a book instead of daydreaming about it all day? Boom. It’s alive.
