How do I study…??

I genuinely don’t know how the hell to study for my written exams. Basically, here in Norway, you get to have all the printed notes and physical books you want to use during the exam, as long as it’s not a file on the computer, you can use it. That’s kinda where my problem comes in… because I know that I can have basically whatever I want with me, it feels kinda like a waste to use time to memorize stuff yk? But then at the same time, I feel like I’m gonna miss something in a way. what the helly do I do??? (It feels obvious and stupid but oh well  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
