how i partialy lit my house on fire

 it was proabably around 2023. i had gotten obsessed with candles. i loved making them, and everyything abt them. the part i loved most was lighing them and literally just watching it. like an idiot.

 after id get bored of watching it for like 10 min, id get other stuff to light up. ilike little peices of tissue paper and regular scrap paper. i was also rly into making like diy paper craft stuff so i had alot of scap paper, straws, cardboard that id also burn..

 one day im lighting some tissue paper as one does. then i need to put it out for some reason. i blow the flame out and spray it with water. ik ik very smart of me. then i throw it into my diy trashcan made of an old giftbag.

 fast forward a few hours, or even a day. ive got to throw my trash out. i guess it was the middle of summer and super windy that day, idk i was in my room the entire time. then mom tells me to take a stroll around the house. to my suprise (more like shock), the big trash can and the corner of my fucking house had melted down. how tf does a house melt u ask? bc the walls were insulated with Styrofoam. oh and it got to the backdoor which warped it.

 aparently i didn't entirely put out the tissue paper, it was still (idk if theres a word for it but) lit i guess. and all my trash just fueled it more.

 yeah dont be an idiot. if ur gonna light a house up at least light the whole thing

 in retrospect, i dont think it would be possible to burn it down completely, bc its made of bricks. still u could do serious damage.
