~ how i want to dress as a new barista (with pics)

⋆⊱༻𖥸༺⊰⋆

Hii everyone <3 sorry this blog is coming a little bit late, I slept for almost the entirety of the day so obviously I forgot! But I've been enjoying writing these little blogs, even though only a handful of people read them. I feel like I'm more so writing these for myself, kind of like a diary.

I should most definitely be going to sleep considering in a couple of hours I have to leave for my first official shift at my new job, but I've pulled enough all-nighters before work, what's one more?

And that rolls into the subject of todays blog!!

These are some examples + explanations of the kind of outfits I want to wear to my new job!

Thankfully, the cafe that I'm working at is super relaxed and I'm actually the only other employee as of right now, so I get to wear really whatever I want. (Within reason of course)

I also think that by dressing cutie and planning my daily outfits will help me stay motivated and not hate working in a few months. It gets absolutely freezing where I live in the winter months, so staying warm and cozy during those times is super important! I'll also have to use a good chunk of money in order to get these kinds of outfits in my closet, considering almost all of my current pieces of clothing are baby pink or cream and they won't necessarily fit the vibe I'm going for!

1: Cutie Boots even though they are weirdly out of my comfort zone

I'm not sure why, but for some reason wearing boots (other then uggs) have always been something that I thought wasn't for me. But since I'm trying to experiment and try new things, I most definitely want to get a pair or two! I think with lots of legwarmers, socks, tights, etc. that'll help me feel more comfortable in them.

2: More Patterns + Darker Colors

As I said earlier, almost all of my closest looks like a unicorn threw up on it, it's time I go back to my midwestern high school roots and bring out the flannels and dark greens. I'll still wear pinks of course, I see no reason to stop wearing my favorite color just for aesthetic sake.

3: Funky Jewelry + Thicker Bracelets + Lockets with my fave people

Since I'm going to be looking at my hands and arms alot while working, its only fair I dress them up too! Rings especially can also be a fidget of some sort since I can't stop rubbing my fingers when I get anxious. I also saw someone saying you can make those bracelets in the middle out of belts!! So I might just give that a try <3

4: Just more accessories in general

I don't wear alot of these things but that's mainly because I don't own any of them. I currently have zero belts, one hat that I hate, and a broken pair of blue light glasses, which is a rough start, but I can't wait to get more of these things from thrift shops and small stores by me :) (and maybe some off vinted)

5: And finally - just layering more things together, even mixed match things

I think the biggest issue I have with how I dress now is just how repeatable I am. I usually will give up after I realize all I need to wear is a tank top and a pair jeans to call it a day. So this fall and winter, I want to put together unlikely things and shove my anxiety away (this feels like one of those times) and step out of my little bubble.

okay that's it!! comment some pics of ur fave pieces of clothing if you want <3
