I actually enjoy taking back sunday live?? / ramble #30

definitely an unpopular take… maybe i’m biased because i do LOVE taking back sunday, but honestly I enjoyed their performance live??? I saw them around a year ago and of course Adam wasn’t having the most BEAUTIFUL voice in the world (let’s not beat around the bush of course he’s not amazing) but the performance was plenty fun and i enjoyed adam’s strange monologues about harry potter and weird stuff…

I feel like everyone targets adam for EVERYTHING wrong with the band and i feel like it’s so like.. Firstly. Adam was never an AMAZING singer, but i think tbh his voice really stands out to me emotionally and the way he uses his voice rather than the quality of it. Honestly he’s always been more fun live.. i’d rather have fun at a show than feel like i sat and listened to the album on spotify and was bored… 

Although what really ruined the show for me was the fact that NO ONE ELSE was into it 😭 I was the only person standing and dancing and singing along.. it made the atmosphere so awkward..

aside from that i’d like to hear other people thoughts about this, i feel like ive seen plenty of male vocalists in the same genre/niche as adam with the same issues and they get less hate than adam.. Adam is just a goof okay leave him be 😭😭😭
