i don’t play minecraft 360 edition JUST for nostalgia

I see this topic a lot, people saying how people who play the older versions of minecraft are only playing it to get a “nostalgia rush” or just to reminisce

while this is a factor in why some people play older minecraft, ITS NOT THE ONLY REASONN

some people (myself included) play older minecraft versions because we think they’re more fun or we just like them better!!

I like playing xbox 360 minecraft because, although i love how nostalgic it is, i also love:

• the lack of blocks

  -gives me more creativity

  -doesn’t overwhelm me

  -the blocks in this version look more blocky and just better idk how to explain it

• the fog in the distance

  -yes yes, i know the newest minecraft version also has fog, but i feel like the fog in the older versions was more prominent than it is now

• how the mobs look

  -idk if this is just me but i don’t really like how they added different species of animals, like the dogs and cats were cool but why do we need different pigs or cows? :,) that might just be me though

 -WHY DID THEY GET RID OF THE BIG HEADS ON BABY MOBS IM SO MAD ABOUT THE BABY SHEEEEPPPP

• the non-infinite worlds/the maps

 -i really like having a small world, it’s easier to explore in my opinion

 -i don’t understand the new map mechanism in newer minecraft at. all. also why did they change how the maps look????

• other things that i will mention later probably

but yeah, that’s my spiel, some people genuinely just like older versions

and even if someone did only play older minecraft solely for the nostalgia, why is that such a problem???

let people do what they want bro
