I hate Gabi hate

This is a rant I wrote about 2 weeks ago and never read over after I wrote it either so I'm posting is here! I wrote this when I hadn't finishes aot S4 yet so read this with that in mind^^

I physically cannot comprehend people hating Gabi. you watched the entirety of Attack on titan and still hate her? A character that is so well written about how war affects children and you hate her just because she killed Sasha and she's annoying? From the moment we meet Gabi she wants to prove that there are good Eldian's and that not all of them are bad, she kills Sasha because she had killed people Gabi knew. and attacked her home. Throughout part 1 and part 2 of season 4 we see how her being on Paradis changed how she viewed Eldian's as a race. we watch her realize that her and the people of Paradis aren't actually different from each other, we watch her realize that everyone is good and bad. When Gabi got to Paradis, she only saw them as devils and as all evil, but as she interacted with them and watched how everything was the same from the moment, she stepped onto the air ship, she realized that there truly were no devil, just people.

I genuinely want another reason from people who hate Gabi besides the fact that she is "annoying" and their fact that she killed Sasha. I've seen people love Eren but hate Gabi which makes no sense to me at all. Eren committed mass genocide and killed 80% of the population and people still defend and like him, but you can't like a little girl who was surrounded by war and was raised to hate her own race just because she killed your favorite character? Gabi only wanted to prove to the Marleyans that there were good Eldian's out there even though not matter what she did they would have always hated her no matter what she did. mind you, I'm only on part 2, Ep8 of S4 so I searched up if Gabi was going to die bc I was actually crying over her and I saw someone say they wished Gabi had died, which I can't comprehend either. it came from a Reddit thread of course bc people who genuinely use Reddit don't have a brain, here are 2 quotes I read, "This post is honestly just to rub her survival in the people hated her faces " and "She did die at the end though 🤡". Gabi is around 14 likely so she is still a child, so to be upset that a child didn't die when a genocide was happening or to die later from old age is bizarre to me. I would give more examples, but from what I've also found from reading people on Reddit can't write so half the responses make no sense.

Gabi is also a parallel for Eren, from what watched of S4 so far all I could see was how much Gabi reminded me of Eren. With how she hated the people of Paradis because she was taught to hate the people of Pardis Island and how they destroyed her home like how Eren hated Titans (then marleyans? Idk vro)) because they destroyed his home. If I thought more into this, I could come up with more reasons for how Eren and Gabi are parallels of each other, but I can't currently.

I could probably write an entire essay on how Gabi hate doesn't make sense to me. But since I'm really bad at writing and this is already shit I won't. I have trouble trying to get my thoughts together and word things correctly, so this was probably very choppy and badly written. I probably also got a lot of things wrong about Gabi's character, but I haven't really deep dived into her character yet since I haven't fully finished aot, but I will likely be doing so once I finished it. this isn't proofread either so again, things are very very badly worded

tbh I think Gabi is so dear so be as a character because I lowkey see myself in her.

let me say this too, how can Sasha's father, the father of the Girl Gabi killed forgive her, but not the fans? I feel like people watched with their eyes closed and ears blocked because Sasha's father realized that Gabi and is just a child who was brainwashed into hating the people of Paradis Island. Sasha's father forgave Gabi because he didn't want the hate to continue, but I feel like the fans didn't understand that either as they proceed to hate Gabi since they are blinded by the fact she killed Sasha. I hope that made sense
