I feel like texting removes the soul and organic feeling from an actual real life conversation.
Like all of the conversations I had with someone new are literally just questions which never go anywhere which leads on of us to be left on read and never talk again.
They’re all so boring and repetitive, and to make it more worse you can’t really hear tone or attitude unless you use 20 fucking symbols, for example:
“Hi” “HAIIIII!!!! :D”
Like yeah I want online friends, but actually talking and communicating with them is the hard part.

I def felt this but I also feels like it depends. Sometime to click with people and other times you don't.

i agree!!! it’s hard to understand the intention behind words during texting which can cause people (like me) to start overthinking. this is why i prefer talking via phone or real life since tone is more visible and i can correctly match energy

I also have this problem, Especially if they just say "ok." I usually start thinking the worst lmao. I mostly use tone indicators "/j" + "/srs" or uhh ig type differently? like instead of "ok" i go "okok". Idk it just gets the tension away i suppose lol. calling, you don't gotta worry about that, that's why i prefer calling over texting. Its honestly more easier for me to talk that way. I rant wayyy more
