I have a love hate relationship with this instrument

Y'all who actually made the French horn? Like I was practicing for all region and looking at my marching show music and bro my show music is SO HIGH like I've only played the French horn for hardly a year, how do you expect me to play a HIGH A on the Mellophone??? It doesn't help that three of the four mellophones (including me) are freshman and the one senior is hardly any help to us. AND I KNOW IN MY SOUL THAT I AM GONNA BE THE ONLY FRESHMAN TO PRACTICE THE SHOW MUSIC
