Recently i got a lot more into bossa nova and did a lot of research on the topic and the chronology. I made 2 different spotify playlists - one for regular brazilian bossa nova and one for Japanese bossa nova - with a lot of lisa ono
My takeaway is that the diffrence between samba and bossa nova is a little blurry and often you can't differentiate the two but apart from that it's an amazing genre<33
