I need help with my talking stage

hello everypuppy!! I made a joke about "blowing my shi smoove off" to the guy I like bc I was overstimulated and having a breakdown. I accidentally vent to him and it makes him uncomfortable. he didn't find my joke funny and now we're not currently speaking. I really like him and he looks like a deer and he's a very endearing dude. i asked him if he wanted to keep talking and he said "undetermined." Im really scared I'm going to lose him over a stupid mistake I made. please give me advice!!!
