Hey! I'm so sorry you're going through this. I read your other comments and I'm sorry he treated you that way.
My recommendation is to meet up with him face to face, if it is safer do it in a public place. Then, tell him that you want to talk to him, explain to him why you want to break up, and break up with him.
Although he hasn't treated you well, it would be a good learning experience for him if you explain to him what he did wrong. He needs to know it isn't right to treat someone that way, and that actions have consequences.
If he wishes to explain why he did what he did, I recommend letting him for the sake of his own mental well-being and also your own. Knowing why someone did what they did does wonders for you when it comes to moving on. If he does, tell him that you appreciate him explaining his side but you still wish to end things amicably.
