i wanna cosplay one day

i always see some video of people in cosplays and they are so freaking cool! the coolest cosplays ive ever seen. i love how there is a community out there for this you can literally just dress up as your favorite character and act like them and even meet other people that are dressed up as other characters in your fandom! cosplayers are so creative when it comes to making their outfits and accessories and stuff like omg?? i wanna do that to one day and go out to one of those anime conventions or something and cosplay as whoever i like! i don't know how exactly how to get into it or start cosplaying but it i just think it would be really cool to do that. it's like dressing up for halloween except it's not and you get to go to all these events where all the cosplayers are at. now i know how crowded it gets there in those conventions my social anxiety would be at the roof but if i ever see someone cool one day in cosplay maybe i could ask for a picture with them or wave at them. cosplaying is so cool :)
