i went to see the hadestown proshot and my life has been permanently altered .‧₊˚♪𝄞₊˚⊹

me and my best bud toby went to the movies today to see the hadestown proshot because we both are Bigggg hadestown enthusiasts. he got me into the musical back in our freshman year because i'd always loved the story of orpheus and eurydice and i had always Heard of the musical but never really known what it was about.. since discovering it i have been Obsessed
⋆ ݁♫ . the camerawork Alone is enough to make it easily one of the best musical proshots, not to mention the stellar acting and how much emotion every cast member put into it, UGH you can just tell that they missed these roles
𝄞₊ ⊹ everyone was PHenomenal but i adored persephone and eurydice the most because Augh. Aoiughhhh.... words don't even begin to describe. amber gray's persephone is iconic for a REASON because the sheer emotion, whimsy, wildness and fun she brings to the character is like no other, PLUS she has a wonderful handling of her more emotional and intense scenes as well,, something something feminine rage
eva noblezada went SO. HAM for this. i swear whenever flowers was playing me and toby were leaning on eachother in complete shock of just. oh my GOD. her performance throughout the whole thing conveyed So. Much. Beautifully intense feeling, i just URGRGHH i love her. i adore her snarky lil eurydice in the beginning that shifts into sheer desperation and profound sadness and then hope i just. Oughhhh its so good
plus the CHEMISTRY between orpheus and eurydice is like no other,,, but of course it's orpheus and eurydice so you didn't need me to tell you that ૮ ˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶ ა
𓏲𝄢 i can't wait for it to come out on whatever it comes out on so i can watch it 20 times and 20 more times and then cry and then love and then make change in the world around me. hadestown my love my light. to the world we dream about and the one we live in now 🌹
