If you want to start coding your own layouts by yourself, I suggest going to the layouts tab, copy a few codes, and compare them so you can see what certain commands do. If you see a certain command being used a lot in the code, you can play around with the parameters to see how it looks on your profile.
And you can always google. There's many beginner friendly tutorials out there. I feel like it's hard teaching people or giving tips on how to code, so I always point people in the direction of youtube tutorials.
