On the night of the full moon, I came to where she wanted me, under the willow tree. But Eris was nowhere to be seen on this stormy, soulless night. Not even a single star in the black inky void accompanied me in this journey to search for her. Spiky branches canopied above me, almost resembling barbed wire in a rural labyrinth.
The rain danced against my umbrella as I continued venturing through this never-ending forest. Eris, where are you? repeated itself several times in my head like a parasite happily feasting itself on my mindless worrying. It wasn't long before a murder of crows caught my attention. The four of them all gazed at me with their beady eyes, and I stared back at them as the silvery moonlight shone through their jet black feathers. With a call of one crow, they all hastily flew away, only leaving a single feather behind.
After what felt like an eternity, I found Eris. Just not in the state I wanted her to be in. In her place, stood a slab shaped as a gravestone. Eris is dead.
(I rushed this story so it's not that good, but I still wanted to share it)
