I'm afraid I've become a Twilight fan

About 2 years ago Twilight was for me just some famous movies I had heard of but never watched. I knew people talked about them as cringey, badly made movies and that was all. Until this year I  finally watched the first one. I'm not gonna lie, I was kind of interested in watching it since I love vampires and their concept, so these type of things catch my attention.

It all began one day when I was hanging out with some friends. One of them is a huge fan of My Chemical Romance, and we were talking about a vampire book we were reading, so the conversation led to Twilight. None of us had watched it ( I remember thinking to myself "How is it that I haven't watched it yet if they're about vampires??"). So me, that one friend, and two more decided to do a sleepover to watch the first movie.

I liked it! Really. I have to admit it is far from being the best movie ever made. It's not the Odyssey, of course. You can see actors laughing, breaking character and cringey acting (let's be honest here). But it was so entertaining, I laughed a lot, loved the vibe and I really liked how they portrayed vampires, such an original way without forgetting what a vampire is (I've seen that happen, and it's so annoying 😅). Not only that, I find the story actually very interesting.

After that, we organized another sleepover to watch Eclipse and New Moon. It got better! I had an amazing time watching those with my friends. We got really into the story, we laughed, and we would get excited every time Jacob appeared on Eclipse (holy glow up, one of my friends played SexyBack whenever he appeared on screen). Personally, I'm really liking the plot of these movies, the vibe, the characters, and just how they are developing. I'm really into them I swear. (it gains points for the fact that it's about vampires. I love that)

Honestly, at this point I'm becoming a Twilight fan. I can't wait to hang out with my friends again and watch Breaking Dawn!!! As for the famous debate: Team Edward or Team Jacob? Well, at this point I can't choose one cause I haven't watched all the movies, I'll come back with an answer when I finish the whole saga.😉
