I'M GOING ON A DATE?!

I've never understood what it means to "put yourself out there" in search of a relationship.  I'm "out there" all the time.  Now what?

Maybe outsourcing relationships of any kind to an algorithm isn't a good idea.  But I've met some of my best friends over the internet- why not a life partner?

Yesterday, I matched with a girl on Hinge, we hit it off, and we're going out to the movies this afternoon after class. Ahhhh! I've never done this before!  Do I bring flowers?  Some sort of gift?  How should I dress?  What should I expect?  I'm so nervous but so excited!  I've never been on a date before.  It's a little embarrassing that I've only started dating now that I'm in college, but hey- better late than never?
