im so proud of myself!

i fully customized my profile tunes box (and a bunch of the rest of my layout) on my own! i've always felt i was too dumb to understand coding despite always really really wanting to learn how. over the years i took some classes and looked up tutorials here and there and some of it stuck, mostly what i learned from editing tumblr themes lol, but overall it still felt like something beyond my brainpower. but OMG! something finally clicked! just this morning i was getting frustrated that i couldn't figure anything out, and now i'm going in and customizing every color down to the smallest detail, adding animations, etc. wow!! :D

i'm especially proud of myself for figuring out how to make the equalizer animation have a rainbow gradient effect. at first i was stumped because i could put the rainbow animation on, but the bars themselves would stop animating. luckily someone on stackoverflow had posted about how to specify multiple animations for a single element, and i got it working again! sorta. it was moving but all the bars were synced up instead of alternating like they're supposed to. so i opened up trusty ol' inspect element, found the coding for the animation, and was able to fully fix it :D

also using inspect element i figured out how to make the background of each song on the playlist a different color :3

i definitely want to edit my layout more, especially some of the colors, but i'm just so happy i had to share!
