i live in like a pretty conservative small town and I know I can't expect much as an alternative trans guy being in public but like I just don't get why people can't let me exist in peace. I hate going in public now because every interaction is uncomfortable... I pass as a guy fairly well looks wise but when you add my voic3 into the mix people get confused. The staring really bothers me, I get glared at by grown ass adults and it's uncomfortable. also, generally i can't identify as a guy in public because of course all my friends and parents know me as a girl... so it's like this weird cycle where i meet strangers and they gender me as a boy and then someone(parents or friend) "corrects" them and it makes for a super awkward interaction. It's just frustrating because people treat me weird and/or avoid me all because my hair is short and I happen to look like a boy(I try to do that on purpose but they don't know that). I wish i could tell my parents so bad so all this would stop but they're transphobic as hecckkk.
anyways.. long story short I just feel unsafe and unwelcomed by most people I talk to in this stupid town.
