Introducing a lovely OC

.  Right, leaving that noisy and ironically lonely spot in my classroom brought immediate benefits from last Thursday onwards; one of them was getting to know a guy who sits in the middle of the room a bit better – let's call him G. G is a writer I'm genuinely envious of – seriously, he showed me material from about four different universes and genres, all properly authentic. He asked if I fancied creating a character for his story, so why not?

CONTEXT

   The main plot revolves around a pandemic among seven over-human gods, who are being corrupted and slowly having their social ties with humans torn apart. One of them is the God of Life, my OC's boss.

HYSTORY

   Created from a modest drop of the God of Life's power after he degenerated, Herege is an entity that doesn't conform to the supernatural-human hierarchy. He was blessed with modifying powers that let him turn into a cockroach, because his superior saw potential in using Herege to infiltrate the human world, find out about the God of Life's reputation and how to restore it. So his origins basically boil down to incubated pride and a push for status.

   Herege fancied the idea of investigating humanity, but realised his own form wouldn't give him much satisfaction; so he created Morrisey – a jack-of-all-trades study tool with raw strength, a stable personality and temperament, weapons in case the earthlings get rebellious, and a body malleable enough to cover Herege's own shape.

Powers:

· Mutation – able to twist his body and turn into a cockroach, gaining all its biological perks.

· Zoom – can extend his visual range up to fifty metres with his left eye.

Trivia:

· Herege pronounces Morrisey as "Morríssi" because he can't quite imitate the French accent.

· Morrisey is incredibly heavy, and the stiffness of the steel pushes Herege's back forward.

· The inventor envies mundane feelings because he doesn't experience them himself – being a semi-god made for assistance and all.

· Herege is metamorph.
