Hi! I'm Rien. I also go by Cent (which is more common for other sites) or Claud (which literally no one uses and I barely do, but it is there). I got invited here by another person, but I am pretty interested in it now so I'll see how long my consistent activity lasts.
I am AroAce spec :) I go by He/Him
I'm surprised no one had bothered to shove me in a locker when I was still in high school. That is to say, I am Nerdy and Autistic. I tend to be pretty verbose, I just suck at condensing things down and ramble, mostly.
I enjoy playing the piano, reading, drawing, slowly kidnapping the neighbors cats, and thinking too much about things (analysis for fun). Effectively anything that has to do with the arts or interacting with art is what I love. ♡
If I get good recordings and pictures, I'll post my covers of arrangements or my own drawings. <3
I love, love, love Lobotomy Corporation. Along with the other games inside of the series, Library of Ruina and Limbus Company. Though I'm not as fixated on Limbus as I was when LobCorp and Ruina were at its peak out autism activity it still is something I thoroughly enjoy. I also like DELTARUNE as is required of seemingly all queer people lol.
I am getting through ENDER LILIES right now as well as Silent Hill F (very slowly just bc my laptop gets quite hot and thats the real horror I think oh my PEE SCEE). I am going to also play through the sequel when I have the money for Ender lilies as well as emulate other Silent Hill games since I never got to that. Also indie games on the side !! I don't feel a need to list them all, but Growing My Grandpa! is one.
Something else I want to comment on. I quite like reading as mentioned before. I worry that I can come off as pretentious because of what I read or my tastes or that I even like to read. wow who picks up books anymore... heh... I JUST LIKE READING WHEN I CAN FOR FUN !! I can understand the reasons why I can to come off as consistently intimidating to people as well, but I promise I'm not ... (seriously, this keeps happening.... oh my goodness......... I'm so sorry......)
I end up defaulting to classic literature just because it is still able to be discussed inside culture and or history. It has something to for sure be able to interact with and learn from. I like to think a lot about complex ideas and to learn. Learning is great!! That, and generally the writing will be able to stand as something interesting or well written to be able to last that long as a more known classic. Sometimes. Depends. Also depends on translation I think. I'm not an authority figure on this or with a degree for it.... or any degree.....
Basically, I'm a NERD and I'm LAZY and I go to the more known or recommended things so I don't have to slog through something I find boring and payed for since I prefer physical media (My Annihilation cough the later parts sputter). Not that light reading is bad. I'm not ultra thinkatron 9000 or anything, I just gravitate towards specific things when I do have the mental capacity to sit down for a novel or short story most the time.
I'd read House of Leaves (obviously, I can't escape that thing) and have been thinking about it for years but I actually might just combust without ADHD meds or a shit ton of coffee trying to get through it.
I'm also probably not going to ever read Gone with the Wind I don't want to rage bait myself.
This feels like making those entry posts to whatever programs they have you use inside of schooling. Okay class now write down your name and your favorite hobbies !! The only difference is that I'm now willingly doing it instead of having my attendance be impacted by me being a bum and not feeling like it until the due date is done. oh yeah, also i totally bombed my second semester of my first year in college because I wanted to kill myself so bad . imagine having a passion for arts but not taking any arts class and going into Psychology . yowch. it was also a lot of other factors but I won't rant about it here
