hi, how are you doing?

today after class my boyfriend came to my house, for us to spend a little time together. it was raining when he got here - so cozy!  after some time, we set the mood laying down on the sofa with blankets to watch something while eating popcorn. we came across "Hannibal". it's a very popular series that makes me really curious. i know Mads Mikkelsen because there's always edits of him on TikTok, but that's all.

however, we came across a bunch of movies that i've never heard before, including one with the same name as the series. the only one i knew was "The Silence of the Lambs" (1991). it is on my watch-list, but i never got to see it. 

me and my boyfriend were pretty lost! we headed to google and agreed on "Red Dragon"(2002). we didn't know the story beforehand, just the character Hannibal - he was a serial killer, that's it . this "Red Dragon" seemed cool and a good alternative to introduce us to this world.

oh boy, what a surprise... what a great film!! i absolutelly loved it!!it's really grotesque and i got pretty disgusted at some scenes - which is nice, it's a psychological horror film, afterall! such a nice art direction, and amazing actors!

but now i'm obsessed!! i need to know more about this Hannibal character. does the TVshow focus solely on him? i suppose that some of the other movies must talk about him, his childhood and such - not to mention the book! aww maan...i don't know where to start!!! 

is watching the TV series worth it? how was your experience?
