its so expensive to have fun nowadays...

i am a teenager who still wants to have fun and take my boyfriend out on nice dates from time to time, but why is everything so expensive? even for hangouts with many people, why is having fun so wallet-draining?

i wanted to take my boyfriend out on a date. Our first idea was to go to the movies together and i had £30 and a dream. And personally £30 is A LOT OF MONEY? i wanted to pay for both of our tickets because i am a gentleman like that fr! we go to the cinema and we go to them machines since we both dont like talking to people, we click the CHEAPEST tickets (mainly cuz all of the seats were full 5 this was a spontaneous and random date since i felt a surge of energy, my boyfriend wanted to go out since it was a full moon and why not have a cute date night to the cinemas before that??)

THE TICKETS WERE £!8 EACH. 18 BLOODY QUID FOR THE CHEAPEST TICKETS TO A MOVIE, THE SCREENING WAS FUCKING TINY TOO?? 5 ROWS OF SEATS. WHAT??? HUH??

we already knew that cinema prizes on food were crazy, so we decided to sneak in our own food but FUCK we can BARELY afford the tickets.. out of rage we decided to turn our asses around and walk out that cinema. Thankfully there was a lovely chinese restaurant nearby that closed really late and had DECENT prices. 

but holy shit, why is having fun so expensive, especially as a teenager? even in big hangouts with a lot of people its so expensive to go to cool places. especially in my area the only space that is targeted towards teenagers is an arcade. Although you can do a lot of cool stuff there it costs so much money.. and if it doesnt, the experience is absolutely SHIT. and people wonder why teenagers yearn for alcohol in order to have fun.

i refuse to continue entertaining myself on the dance dance revolution machine in the arcade near me.. i want more fun stuff to do! PLEASE! GIVE ME IDEAS ! CHEAP HANGOUT IDEAS ! CHEAP BUT SENTIMENTAL DATE IDEAS! PLEASE!! AGGGHGHGH 😡
