I’ve never been much of a Lennon fan, for some reason i kept thinking about him and the songs only he sang in the beatles, and the song “imagine”, and the song “give peace a chance” but i didnt remember the name at the time. I dont know his birthday, i dont use tiktok, instagram, or any social media i can know from or get notified about his birthday.

I kept listening to his songs in the beatles, thinking about him, searching for him on Pinterest, just… remember THE john lennon.

I listen to “imagine” and cried with the first piano note, i listen to alot of his songs from his solo career like “jealous boy” “woman” “give peace a chance” “darling boy” “woman is the n of the world” (idk how he dared to ask us to THINK ABOUT IT). I just let go of my studies and listen to him. Cry. Feel happy. Dance. Get emotional. I just… experience…

I go to bed, ready to sleep, open up google to search on something, i see a picture of john lennon in the news or whatever its called, the caption, his birthday was yesterday. Its like i was chosen by him to listen to him. And god how he made me feel at peace. I kept thinking about the revolution he did, the wars he protested against, the peace he fought for, some sayings he said like “the time you enjoyed wasting is not wasted”. Really, peace and love john Lennon. ☮️ ✌️
