Don't celebrate the America of today, or yesterday, anyone who does devalues the virtue of being an American. A real patriot fights for the America of tomorrow, the one better than we have today. Be free in spite of the powers that are hijacking our communities.
You’re so right, like there ain’t shit to be happy about on the fourth. My people were enslaved and tortured, native Americans were kicked off their land, killed and/or sold off, Latino people were also killed and deported unrightfully etc. The only thing we can do is fight for our future and not partake in the bullshit holidays.
