Killing the best of me

After more than a month since I joined this site, it's the first time I disappear for over a week. I've been busy with work, games and friends. My social battery keeps getting drained, but I made the effort to log in again. I quit mainstream social media years ago so this is pretty much the only one I'm using. I made a new Instagram account a few months ago because a friend convinced me to chat there, but I never posted anything and probably never will. I absolutely despise it and go straight to messages, so I'm only using it to chat. My friends joined Discord because I take too long to reply there anyway. 

Apparently MySpace is coming back, but I doubt they won't try to monetize it to hell. I think it will be fun and full of active people anyway. If it turns out to be good enough, I don't see any reason to stick around here. All these clones are gonna die quickly if it actually happens. Having a big budget and employees taking care of the site is a great advantage. Everyone knows what happened to SpaceHey when the owner abandoned it and the same can happen here. It reminds me of some private mmorpg servers, when they eventually suck and people go back to the official. I really hope it comes back soon.

I'm finally clearing my movies backlog. I keep watching new ones with the friend I mentioned in my last post. She rarely watched movies before so anything I pick is fine. I ask her to pick one, but always tells me she doesn't know. I like how she always checks content about the movie the next day and we keep talking about it. It's already August and I haven't seen LOTR and Twilight this year. I planned to rewatch LOTR with another friend, but after ghosting me for no reason, I had to remove that person. There's a big chance she won't start university till January, so we have plenty of time to do everything.

I'll keep disappearing randomly for indefinite time. I'm always on Discord, but I only accept people I have talked to before. Cheers. ✌️
