Kinda ventish stuff regarding a song?

I decided to watch the official video for "The Great Pretender" sung by Freddie Mercury and I teared up (I'm still tearing up, not joking here).

It hurts to be only seen for what you look like rather than for what you really are, especially in a society which only expects you to "look beautiful" and stuff. Having to "pretend" sucks, especially if you're surrounded by people who make you feel bad about yourself. This is why I believe being authentic is crucial. At least you won't have to be all "laughing and gay like a clown" as the song says. Whether people will love you, hate you or only see what they want to see, be yourself because nobody else's gonna do that for you.
