Spoiler discussion!!

IT'S SO GOOD Y'ALLL!! I love love LOVE the the animation and the imagery in this episode. It's storytelling, both wordless and not, is very well done. I think it's visual metaphors are definitely the highlight for me. 

The scene with Guinevere's flashbacks is the best example: her stepping into the glasses-shaped frame and us literally seeing throw her eyes is so cool. the comparisons drawn between Frankie/Andi and Orville/Olivia is super interesting, I'm excited to see where they go with it. Maybe it'll tie into their arcs, having them be mirrors of reverse mirror to each other. Or maybe I'm overthinking it and it's only a presentation of Gwen's PTSD symptoms. I'm hoping it's both but nothing wrong with just the latter!

I also think the action was top notch! I love how real the fighting and injuries are treated, like with Andi's arm injury carrying over from last episode, Frankie's boxing fight style, the consistent injuries and blood, just UGH IT'S SO COOL! It's also helps to make the horror of Gwen's abilities and anatomy so much scarier. What she did to the cop guy freaked me the fuck out in the best possible way. And every moment of it was animated spectacularly!!

The only thing that I could say was hit or miss (and even them I'm nitpicking) was some of the dialogue. For the most part it's perfect; it's subtle, shows a lot of character, and is incredibly interesting and thematic. It's only that occasionally, mostly when Frankie and Andi argue about Sparky, it feel like it can halt the pacing. But again it just nitpicking, I don't really care about that.
