Laptop Update

I just took my laptop to uBreakiFix, spoke to the guy there, and got a solid idea what happened to my laptop.

According to him, the boneheads at Lenovo thought it would be a good idea to have the USB-A port also suck in power to charge the laptop, even though the thing already has two good USB-C ports. When I plugged in my A25, I unwittingly gave it a second battery to draw voltage from. That's how my little broken A25 was able to short the motherboard. 

Granted, they probably wrote a warning about this in the laptop's instruction manual, but I still think this is pretty stupid design. That he guessed this immediately when I explained what happened hints to me that I am far from the only person to find out the hard way that Lenovo invented a double-function USB-A port.
