Bro HOW do you learn guitar on your own, genuine question. I only have an electric guitar, no amp but one pedal and 0 motivation. Yes I've tried online apps, yes I've tried youtube lessons, yes I've tried just playing shit I like straight off the bat, I JUST CAN'T DO IT. I want lessons and I never get them. I try to get better with motivation but that one part of my brain is just "Ahhh you can do it later" and guess what... I NEVER DO IT. Plus if my family is home I have an even harder time, I don't want them to hear me because my dad is one of those people who are like... "Yeah you sound bad now, I'm gonna make fun and laugh at you" so it's just very embarrassing and discouraging, honestly.
Anyways, yes. Tips are appreciated because i will play my favorite songs EVENTUALLY

also waiting for the motivation to come is fruitless. it wont come to you. you have force yourself to do things when youre not motivated. hardest parts getting started
