I think the furthest I got was the Elite Four but I only got to that point by bruteforcing with Emboar, so clearly, I didn't learn type matchups either LMAO XD.
And yeah, sorry to hear about having to sell off the game, I can't even sell mine because the battery on my cartridge is cooked.
