From a *viewer standpoint not a capitalism standpoint I like the idea of ftanchises like Sonic, Star Wars, or whatever it is creators creator.
What I do not like is usignSpongebob ad an example. If a show lost what it was, and if it should stop producing newcontent there should be a constant flourishih envirement where there is always potential that some creator van create a new character or franchise.
Many Spongebob fans agree what ever Spogebob met to them died after seeason 4 to 6 ish. Spongebib now just exists to profit off nestalgia are they even prgressing the ip? Orcare they just milking nestalgia in later episodes?
THe constant drive for profit drives to this.
I do beliebe heir show be some type of profit circulating but it shouldnt be like wih Spogebob wheer u always have to play safe with an ip because its what everyone knows from years ago.
This is exactly why loud house got canceled but fairlyly oddcparents didnt, spongebob diddn't. Nick has always been spongbob and fairly odd parents monopoly prefered treatment.
How can we legally encourage compamies to qctually prioritise to get variety and not just clogging it up with the safe options hu know will get money.
