Low Effort Romance VN

I’m digging through my screenshots and found this office romance VN I played last year. I remember thinking how it was sort of realistic, and that if I ever date as an adult, this is what it would look like. I mean, the title itself is “Low Effort Romance” so that alone was kinda relatable for me. 

It’s titled low effort but it’s not like a fling-esque dynamic (though I do remember them starting out as flings lol) but low effort as in considering busy schedules, budgets, responsibilities, and their energy, they navigate through their relationship by small dinner “dates” outside their office, hanging out in their houses, and stopping by the other’s desk during work. It was refreshing since most romance VNs I was playing were intense, grand, and complicated… (ESPECIALLY romance VNs targeted towards teens) 

I remember when they planned to spend new years together, but Emma had unexpected overtime (they’re in different departments so Hal left earlier) she was really upset since they've been really overworked and busy, so new years with Hal was something she was really looking forward to. Hal surprised her by bringing snacks to the office and helping her finish her work. They went up to their office building’s rooftop and watched the new year’s fireworks together.
