making music and album/odd blog post about making music and shit like that

so i've been making an album recently and even though it's not perfect i kinda just like the individual songs but recently i've been feeling like i want to just finish it up quickly.

i mean this is nothing new to be honest

we all feel that when making something that takes time

and idk i feel ok with it and i'm planning on doing like 10-11 tracks? i have like 6 down

routenote is being SO DIFFICULT like what the fuck man

ok i say this because routenote has a broken password system. so you make your password ok then you make your security check (let's say you choose the question 'what's your favourite band/artist?' and you put in the response to let it through 'mcr'. then when you forget your password you can just use that and do the verification thingy and get in). which is fine. what's NOT fine is that it always logs you out when you exit and come back. and when you try to log in with your password, even if you put in the EXACT password or copy it from dashlane or google passwords or whatever, it won't let you in. you HAVE to do the reset password thingy. and even if you reset it to your EXACT password, and it DOES let you in and do stuff... yeah you can guess what happens when you exit and come back.

ok speaking of venting about music platforms, bandcamp has this weird policy i don't even know why they have it. so like with bandcamp you can either make your music free, pay-what-you-want or a specific price. which is cool right? yeah. except they give you a LIMIT for putting free stuff on your bandcamp, or even pay-what-you-want stuff. yes you read that right. and look. i like when (good civilian) artists get paid or supported that's fine. but sometimes they DO wanna give stuff out for free. so why is there a limit? i'm confused. it's ok though because the points recharge every month so i'm not too worried (i can peacefully put out free music). other than that bandcamp is fine.
