BACKGROUND CHAPTER 1: WATTS, L.A.

Jonathan was born into a poor family in Watts, Los Angeles. He grew up in an extremely violent neighborhood, rife with gang warfare. He and his younger brother, Barry Graves, were often bullied for being white. Jonathan, however, was not the kind of kid who gets scared easily. He frequently picked fights with older boys to defend himself or protect his little brother.

Their parents eventually became drug addicts, swept up in the massive crack and cocaine trade that engulfed the area during the 1980s. As a result, Jonathan and Barry had to grow up fending for themselves while always watching each other's backs. Ultimately they joined a local gang and earned respect in the neighborhood.

In 1988, Barry attended a house party thrown to celebrate a major drug deal the gang had just secured. Jonathan did not go, being busy that night with one of his girlfriends. But tragedy struck at that very house. During the party, the building was raided by opps and heavy gunfire broke out, killing most of the gang members, including 17-year-old Barry Graves.

From that day on, an overwhelming guilt ate at Jonathan's soul. He blamed himself for not being there when his brother needed him most, on top of that, he felt deeply embarrassed by the defeat.

Without any major gang member left and no safety for himself, Jonathan decided to take all the leftover drug money and escape to Highland Park, start a new life and eventually, get his revenge. He changed his appearance, growing long hair and dyeing them red. He also started doing what he always loved but couldn't embrace in his old neighbourhood: Music.

He started writing noise rock and thrash metal songs: intense, gory, and brutally unhinged. Some locals were drawn to the extremity of the sounds and his violent energy. Before long, he assembled a band from the most blood degenerate humans he could possibly unearth. But the truth is, his plan ran far darker than just forming a band. And it would spill way more blood than his lyrics could ever begin to describe.

CHAPTER 2: THE BAND MEMBERS

His band never had a real name, never had a logo or an iconic song, but some people knew them, the worst people knew them, and somehow they made more money than any other emerging band there was.

Jonathan's method is complicated, cunningly devised, and extreme. Every member is more than just a musician; they each play a role in a brutal killing system.

(The following names are only known by the "investors". Any random at their concerts is not aware).

The system operates as follows: the Lead Guitarist (The Doctor) takes care of the entire setup, he finds the most unknown abandoned spots for the illegal underground parties, he participates in many events and knows famous people in the area, they always appreciate the band's music style and even if he uses random names every time, he manages to put up shows, flyers and private invites for the parties, sometimes even getting mentioned in the more commercial night clubs from his acquaintances, The Doctor has impressive persuasive ability and a double personality, he could fool even the most vigilant people.

The Drummer (Falco), his role takes place just before the concert starts, when people start gathering in the building he has to look for the most suitable prey for the singer, they have to be alone, not likely to be reported missing, they have to be at least 24 and look big for a fair fight, sometimes he has to look for specific types of people that get requested by the bass guitarist (we will get to that), he decides who will lose their life that night and who will survive, Falco approaches people by saying the band has something special for them, that they "knew a friend" or they "saw him a lot", he has to keep track of all the people at all times and consider any action they make. He then walks the victims to the spot, usually extremely hard to find and reach, he has to reassure the victims during the walk to prevent any retreat, Falco is an intuitive man, can improvise in any situation and has no shame at all, for now.

(Jonathan) The singer, also known as Maul Mic. He is the beater, once the victim is in the spot, the game begins, Johnatan is 6'6 and has massive muscle strength, he usually fights while high on cocaine, the chances of survival are absolute zero.

The Bassist (Slab Strum), his role is to satisfy the clients, the clients are the ones who pay the band for the recordings or "pieces" of their victims, Slab films the whole act while it happens, he takes notes on the clients' requests and usually makes suggestions to the singer leader. He manually dismembers the bodies and buries them in concrete after the act is finished, when it's necessary he ships parts of the body to the clients, his stomach is remarkably strong, it's obvious he enjoys it, the bassist's strength is the only one comparable to the singer's, he moves bodies and concrete fast and easily, he's also high on cocaine, Slab Strum is a complete gore creep, his mind is disturbed beyond salvation.

The band usually kills before the concert even starts, sometimes dispatching two victims at once. They work fast and messy, and more often than not, they take the stage with blood still streaked across their bodies. But against the black of the night sky and the grimy, chaotic backdrop of the concert's location, no one seems to notice.

MENTAL FRAMEWORK:

Jonathan's mind is twisted in its own right, the truth is, he never really cared about his family, not even his little brother. In fact, Jonathan never cared about anything at all, except for his sense of superiority over others. That very sense that was violated when they killed his little brother and gang members.

From the very first day he saw himself as the leader, he doesn’t need to be declared as such, he was there to make sure everyone outside the gang knew just how terrified they should be of him. Jonathan never wants to lose and he never will.

Chances of survival after being targeted: zero.

Kudos: 2
