Me and my sister saw the TADC finale (probz spoilers)

So me and my sister saw the finale to TADC and I mean it was bad but not as bad as people will say.

For the most part it's a good episode I just hate how they ended the story (also how Jax focused the episode was but everyone could see that coming from a mile away) 

My main thing is I have 2 questions now

1: what the hell was Bubble

If it wasn't for the scene at Caine's office in ep 8 I would assume that he was just some random AI Caine had made as a sort of sidekick/yes man but after that ep 8 scene I started to wonder if maybe there was more to him, I heard a theory about him being a virus too which could maybe work. Too bad we'll never know because Bubble died and then was never brought up again (past Caine making a Bubble cookie in the credits) so I guess I just wish they gave us something to go off of, but I guess that was unrealistic for Jax the Movie.

2: what was stopping Caine from telling them the truth from the start

Caine's whole thing is he wants them to like being in the circus and stop trying to leave, and it seems like they didn't mind staying after he told them what their real life counterparts were up to (granted they did have time to process the information since they found out in the start) so why didn't he just go "Your real life you is doing ok in the real world and so just relax and fuck around in here" or something I don't know. I think the characters would be just fine living in the circus if they knew the full situation from the start
