meeting new people

i feel like one of the hardest things about growing up is finding people you genuinely click with. not just people you can talk to, or people you sit with because you're in the same place, but people who actually get you.

so i thought i'd make a little post about myself in the hopes of finding some people i have things in common with ♡

a little about me:

🎧 music — i'm really into music, especially alternative stuff (korn, limp bizkit, deftones, chevelle, massive attack, portishead, etc etc etc.). i love finding songs that make me feel something, the kind you end up listening to on repeat at 2am. i'd love to meet people who are passionate about music, whether that's sharing playlists, talking about favourite bands or just recommending songs to each other.

🕸️ my interests — i'm drawn to like mostly everything, i like watching true crime and diving into psychology and theories. i love the paranormal and horror movies, but NOT GORE. i seriously cannot stand gore. but i read creepypastas and i watch anime and read manga. 

🎸 creative things — i play guitar and enjoy having creative outlets, even if i don't always have the motivation to do as much as i'd like. i'd love to talk to people who play instruments, write, draw, take photographs or just appreciate art and creativity.

i think i'd get along best with people who are open-minded and comfortable being themselves. people who can have a laugh.

i don't expect to instantly become best friends with everyone i meet. i'd just really like to find some people i can talk to, get to know naturally, share interests with and hopefully build genuine friendships with over time.

you don't have to write anything particularly interesting. even a simple hello is enough to start a conversation.

maybe we'll have something in common, maybe we'll introduce each other to something new. either way, i'd love to meet more people who feel like they're on a similar wavelength.
