Military Collectible Store Haul

About a month ago I passed by a military antique store and found a few items that jumped out at me.  I will identify going clockwise starting with the black lamp shade.

First is an original World War II era Japanese lamp that I believe was used in bomber and transport aircraft at the navigators station.

Next is an Iraqi M90 helmet dating back to the 1991 Gulf War.  The alleged story is that this item came in with a lot of other M90 helmets that were found buried in a cache during the Second Iraq War in the 2000s.  The story is plausible considering the condition and it is still packed with the powdery Iraqi sand.  With that said in the collectors community we have a saying "Buy the item not the story."  The item is legitimate but who knows about the story.

Next is a small 48 star US flag which would put it sometime around the World War II timeframe.  I am going to place it somewhere in my Barclay Soldier diorama.

Next is the most unique item.  A World War II era Japanese ornamental ashtray.  Items like this were very common among all sides during the war.  It is the base of howitzer shell with a 6.5x52mm Arisaka rifle cartridge as the snubber.  The two rest appear to be cut from the same cartridge that the snubber.  The ashtray disassembles and fits into the box on the left.

This item is now in my WWII Japanese display case along with some very rare Japanese wartime cigarettes I have. 

Lastly is some sort of stationary from the Soviet Union commemorating the 45th anniversary of Victory Day.  That would put this item somewhere around 1985.  While it does have slots that would fit pens and notecards I still do not know what the true function of this item is.
