money, crystals, and games

yo so yk how people always say "money cant buy you happiness"? well they're FREAKING WRONG


my dad gave me a small amount of what he owes me and bro i cant wait to get what i ordered!! i got stuff for my old dsi xl, which was a protective case, a charger adaptor, and a replacement touch digitizer, AND i went online to buy crystal/gemstone confetti from a small business


i can't wait cuz my dsi xl stuff is coming today, and my crystals are being prepared to be shipped <33 btw i swear i'm not a console "larper" (the correct term is poser), my dsi xl is from my childhood and has been thoroughly loved! i also can't be a larper because some of my fav games are bejeweled 3 and the penguins of madagascar and that's NO ONE'S favourite


i got a ton of other games too, but i kinda struggle with my backlogging and end up getting overwhelmed and playing a ton of games at once when i'm bored (tho i'm getting much better at maintaining that). i also can't wait to get the rest of my money so i can buy an mp3 player AND a ps vita so i can finally listen to music offline (i have CDs but those are for home and i have to be careful about what i burn/play out loud because my family is a bunch of religious prudes sadly..) and play both ps vita games and psp games since the psp can run natively like how the wii plays game cube and certain versions of playstations can play the games from previous consoles!


quick lore drop: my family had two black psps because there's always been a lot of us and my older sisters were the ones who experienced a childhood where my parents had a lot of money to spare (me and my other two siblings did not), but i haven't seen them in a few years so they're definitely in storage but the last i saw them, they were in pretty rough shape... anyway, i always loved the playstation, and my fav games were usually from our ps2, so they were the simpsons: road rage, harvest moon: save the homeland, and dance dance revolution: disney channel edition! i also liked mortal combat and a few others, but its hard to remember because i played all this stuff a lot when i was ages 5-8, and most of the discs are scratched or lost to this day (rip the disc for disney channel ddr tho, i actually watched that shit snap in half last year but it was fine cuz it was super scratched and unplayable).
