More things my family say (mostly me and Alice)

1. "Shivering in my timbers", we are fully aware that it's used for being scared/shocked, but we like to say it when we're cold.

2. We like reacting/responding to songs, here are a few examples

2.1 The Christmas Song, the lyric "Jack frost nipping at your nose", we like to say 'well tell him to stop'. We do not like our noses nipped.

2.2  God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen specifically the Pentatonix version (we <3 PTX) ,when they go da-da da-da at 1:43, we like to say "Aw, his first words!" because it sounds like dada

2.3 When a song repeats a lyric a lot, like in Christmas Kids when they go "I'll know, I'll know" like a bajillion times we say "Do you think he'll know?", or Wait For Me, "do you think he wants us to wait for him?"

3. Butts, we say a lot of butts, because we have the humor of a five year old

3.1 "What's that?" Your butt "Where's this?" Your butt, any question can be answered with your butt, as demonstrated by Alice two seconds ago when I asked what else we say that I could put in this blog

3.2 During our most recent visit to our grandparent, ALice asked me to turn off the light but she didn't say it like that she said "Can you shove it up your butt?", and I immediately knew what she was asking. We use this phrase a lot now, like when asking someone to throw away a piece of trash we say that instead of "Can you throw this away?"

4. We have gained a new funny thing to repeat while on the grandparents visit. "Thrifted neck", I said something, lord knows what at this point, but Alice heard it as "thrifted neck", which lead to us questioning how you thrift a neck. We now use this when someone wildly misunderstands something.

5. This one is still a favourite, but it's less used now. When we do something loud, like using the blender, we like to shout "I'd love a scone." "You broke a bone?" "Pick up the phone!", the order doesn't matter, we always forget how it went in the original. This is a Brandon Farris reference (we <3 Brandon)

6. When someone stutters or makes a strange noise, we say "You wanna repeat that for me?"/"You wanna repeat that in English?" and the answer is either no, or making the same noise again. Similarly, for the same situation we say "Is that so?"

7. We also have gained a few new movie/show references we like to repeat, but mother got sick of it, so we don't do it in front of her. We had watched the original a while before, but the references came more recently. We just like to in general quote shows/movies, there's so many that I can't put them all, but here's the two most recent.

7.1 From PHM when Rocky says "Grace look disgust when eat" but Alice likes to stop at "Grace look disgust" or just say "disgust" in the tone.

7.2 From Bee & Puppycat, we like to quote the grasshopper, specifically "Uuugly"

8. We call each other names often, it's a sibling thing, one of those names is "freak" and me and Alice go back and forth and say "freak, slut, cripple, homo, homo, homo" from Heathers I believe, and she loves to mess up the order on purpose just to annoy me.

9. When one of us ends a conversation intending to leave and say "k, bye" the other says "out if ten" to quote Liam, the tiktok recipe guy who likes beans.

Feel free to steal any of these. I hope you enjoyed.
