REMINDER: DO NOT EAT LESS THAN 1200 CALORIES. EVERYONE NEEDS A DIFFERENT AMOUNT OF CALORIES TO FUEL BASIC FUNCTIONS.
Tip #5: Accountability and motivation
Keeping consistent can be really hard. “So how can I stay consistent, oh top dawg Finn?!” You may ask, and I am here to answer. Post yourself. Make it a series. Film yourself AFTER (keyword: after) a hard, high intensity workout. You will do this EVERYDAY. NOT A SINGLE MISS. This way, you’ll keep going until you reach your goal, and maybe even after just to stay fit!
Tip #6: Find the perfect workout for YOU. Not for others.
Something that bothers me doing most workouts (weight lifting, jogging, YouTube videos, etc.) is that it’s all fucking boring. So, I started doing Just Dance. I tried ALL SORTS OF WORKOUTS until I found the right one and that’s what YOU need to do. YOU need to try a whole lot of different things to see what works with you. You DO NOT just give up like a pussy.
Tip #7: Just because you’re eating healthier doesn’t mean you’re getting nutrients (psst! Supplements are your friends!)
Low energy? Hair loss? Breaking out? Nails not growing? You’re probably malnourished and missing some vitamins. What you need to do is get some supplement pills, powder, or gummies. Don’t worry about eating less than 2000 calories when it says it’s for a diet of 2000 cals, you’ll literally just piss out the stuff your body doesn’t need. That being said, these ARE NOT SNACKS. IN FACT, GET ONES THAT DONT TASTE GOOD SO YOU DONT FEEL TEMPTED TO SNACK ON THEM FOR THE FLAVOR BURST. I personally get the Nature’s Way Alive! Women’s gummy multivitamin. I had to get these whenever I had ARFID because I was losing CLUMPS of hair and it genuinely helped. Obviously try to eat the nutrients you need, but supplements can help as a last resort. If you need a protein shake, get a protein shake, girl (or boy/them).
Tip #8: Don’t view eating new foods and cutting old foods as punishment
Toxic weight loss influencers (who often promote eating disorders, but you didn’t hear that from me) will tell you that old foods are bad and treat healthy foods as if they are a punishment for being a fatass, when, in fact, that’s a really bad way to view food because it will eventually discourage you from eating better. You CAN have good, yummy foods while eating better!! What you need to do is make your foods at home. Drumsticks? No breading and go light on the oil, just make the outside extra crispy so it has the same texture. Alfredo? Make the sauce with low calorie alternatives and keto noodles. Chicken nuggets? Go anywhere with grilled chicken bites and I SWEAR TO YOU THAT ITS BETTER. Fries? Make waffle fries as home! Not only does this improve your skill in the kitchen, you get to keep eating your favorite foods. This goes with sweet treats, too. Like, I have a smoothie every night. I fucking love smoothies. I just use pure baking powder, a low cal fruit yogurt, skim milk, and whatever fruits I fucking want. You know how many calories it ends up being? 110-250. Make keto desserts if you want a sweet treat. Have carb smart ice cream or make yourself some nice cream.
Will continue series laterrr! Baiiii
