not sure if my two reccs are as unpopular as i think they are, but, here are the ones i personally loved & rarely see people talking about!
penelope (2006) — not sure if this one quite counts as a romcom since the main plot isn’t romance, but the subplot is romance, and it’s such an enjoyable watch! christina ricci & james mcavoy are also paired together in this movie, so that’s just an even bigger reason to watch it!
while you were sleeping (1995) — my absolute FAVVVVV. sandra bullock is amazing in this, and i cannot recommend it enough! the plot is a little ?? but somehow the movie is still good? it’s just something you have to watch to know what i mean lol.
i don’t really watch romcoms that much since it’s not my fav genre, so this is all i have to recommend. hopefully if anybody has never seen either of these movies before, that they give one of them a chance if it interests them. :)
