Moving to nyc..

I’ve been thinking a lot about moving to nyc I’ve talked to someone about moving there together and we went and looked at a bunch of places and surprisingly found a lot of hidden gems, did some math and it’s honestly doable even for myself alone. I don’t really want to move there in a cliche plot of a movie way but mainly from a career standpoint also because hell yeah nyc! It feels like the only thing I had doubts about was I grew up poor and bad financial decisions being made a lot so that could be me too, but I’ve realized more and more I can do differently and it’s also not going to be the same situation so I’ve gained more confidence in that area. Of course leaving family and friends won’t be easy but we looked at the distance and financial aspect of it and that’s surprisingly doable too?! A lot of my life I never really bothered to looking into nyc or any big place like that because I just assumed it was all for the insanely rich or lucky people don’t get me wrong shit IS expensive there… But I’m glad I actually looked into it otherwise none of this would have been on my radar like at all. I wouldn’t say this plan is definitive yet but at the same time there are things already in motion a bit like saving up and stuff like that..
