Murdoc Niccals (yes this is a whole blog about him)

Murdoc Faust Niccals is the bassist and ‘leader’ of Gorillaz, a virtual band. He is 50 years old (born on 06/06/66 haha funny 6666) and is 5’7 or so I lowk forgot. Before he made the band he had made many other bands but they didn’t work out due to his horrible singing voice. Your voice wouldn’t sound good if you drank and smoked for 80% of your life either.

He started the band by first driving through a window of a keyboard shop which Stuart Pot worked at. This caused Stuart to lose one of his eyes in his head?? Some people say it’s an eight-ball fracture idk. So Murdoc had to take care of Stuart for 10 hours a week on top of doing 30,000 hours of community work. 

During this time, Murdoc abused Stuart and while Murdoc was doing donuts in his car at 90 MPH, he hit a curb and Stuart, who was in the backseat, flew out the window, causing him to lose his other eye. Soon Murdoc realises Stuart has 2 dents in his head so he labels him 2D and basically manipulates him into uhh being the singer of Gorillaz. Noodle, the guitarist and Russel aren’t that important in his story. Murdoc kidnapped Russel though.

Murdoc was low-key abused by his dad, being forced to dress up nd shit. Later in life, Murdoc sells his soul to the devil to change his middle name to Faust, for some reason. I’m pretty sure Murdoc also got his bass in ‘Feel good inc’ from Satan but I can’t remember.

In phase 2, Murdoc tricks a guy uhh I forgot his name, to go into the back of the Flying Windmill to shoot and ultimately kill Noodle during El Manana as Murdoc told him he was going to kill off the rest of the members. The guy finds out there’s no gun in the windmill and goes down will it, the guy is never heard from again. 

During phase 3, Murdoc wants to start recording music again in a place where no one would find him, this is where he finds plastic beach. ‘Someone’, probably Murdoc, gassed 2D and brought him to Plastic Beach. Murdoc then trapped him in the basement thingy with a window that a whale looked in because 2D is afraid of Whales. Murdoc then creates a robot replacement of Noodle, Cyborg Noodle. She ends up basically being a body guard and a guitarist, two birds with one stone. 

Uhhhh I’m too lazy to write more but I love Murdoc Niccals even though he is a horribly wrote character ❤️
