I have witnessed first that music is a fair judgement of one's personality to some extent. Certain musical interests correspond with certain personality traits through a consistent basis, even in unsuspecting people.

I agree because music also makes humans have certain emotions ( upbeat -> happy ect… ) but a personality as u said to an extent and I think it’s not the music but the lyricism & the artist behind it that affect the personality more
I like listening to music that makes me feel good rather than sad/inamood
But also I listen to calm music when I want to slow things down ect…^^
There is truth to that, you're right! It definitely can stem from lyricism and artistry. But I believe it extends beyond lyricism and artistry, because what happens when a person favors classical or instrumental music only?
